The Souk Series is reminiscent of traditional zellige or ‘small polished stone’ designs to be found in North Africa. These pieces are characterised by their bright colours and decorative detail featuring geometric or traditional figures. In Spain these designs can be admired in the Alhambra Palace in Granada.
